The Christian Education
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations” Matthew 28:19
The Christian Education promotes Bible centered education and encourages spritual growth for all ages. It incorporates Sunday School and Children’s Church Ministry. Sunday School begins every Sunday at 9:45 am for everyone.
Children’s Church Ministry is held every 2nd and 4th Sunday at 11:00 am, for children between the ages of 5 and 10.
The goal of the Christian Education Ministry is to teach the Word of God in a manner which enriches lives.
The Fellowship Ministry
“And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship….” Acts 2:42
The purpose of the Fellowship Ministry is to help meet the need of the total man (Body, Soul, and Spirit).
We know that no man is an island; therefore fellowship with one another is essential in our walk with God. The Fellowship Ministry is divided into specialized groups as follows: Men’s Fellowship, Women’s Fellowship, Single’s Fellowship, and Couple’s Fellowship
The Fellowship Ministry has anointed services and seminars, as well as exciting and fun outings that not only minister to the spirit but produces holistic men and woman of God.
The Hospitality Department
“Don’t neglest to show hospitality, for doing this some have welcomed angels as guests without knowing it. “Hebrews 13:2
The Hospitality Department’s mission is to be a conduit of God’s love from the moment one walks through our doors until they leave our doors and beyond. This care giving ministry joyfully welcomes, assists, and helps with any questions or concerns that one may have about Christ Church Ministries.
The Hospitality Department consists of these ministries: The Greeter’s Ministry, The Usher Ministry, The Healthcare Ministry, and Shepherd’s Guild.
The purpose of the Hospitality Department is to serve both members and guests.
The Music Ministry
“Praise ye the Lord. Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.”Psalms 149:1
The Music Ministry serves to set an atmosphere of praise and worship in the sanctuary, by ushering in the presence of God. The Music Ministry is comprised of: Voices for Christ Choir, Young People’s Choir, Children’s Choir, Musicians, and Praise Team.
The Music Ministry believes that when God is exalted anything wonderful can happen.
The Outreach Ministry
“By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have Love one to another” John 13:35
The Outreach Ministry provides avenues to express the good news of the Gospel in word and deed, through the love of God. The Outreach Ministry is involved in the following programs: Lincoln Park Service, Bread Ministry, Summer Street Meeting, Community Evangelism, Fall Tent Crusade, Thanksgiving Community Dinner, Angel Tree Service, Food Pantry, and Clothes Pantry.
Young People’s Department
“I write to you, young people, because you are strong and the word of God abides in you,…” 1 John 2:14
The vision of the Young People’s Department is that young men and women become spiritually equipped with the word of God, that they become great leaders used by God. Our desire is that other young people will see the Love of God in us and ask,” what must I do to be saved”
The Young People’s Department has hosted or been involved in the following: Young People’s Summer Retreat, Young People’s Concert, Young People’s Mime Ministry “God’s Expression”, and Young People’s Fellowship
