Elect Lady, G. Patricia Baker Print E-mail

firstladyonlyEvangelist Baker was born in Joplin, MO to Marlin and Jessie Edmondson and was Baptized in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and received the Holy Ghost in March of 1970 at Zion Apostolic Church in Denver, Colorado.  

She graduated from Joplin High School, attended Jasper County Community College and Joplin Business College in her home town.  In her role as Christ Church early child care Director, she attended Thomas Nelson Community College in Hampton, VA, where she studied Early Childhood Development to enhance her position as Director.

Evangelist Baker was elected President of the Virginia State Council Missionary Women’s Auxiliary in 1988 and served in that office for 2 terms totaling 6 years.  She is currently serving as Christ Church Women’s Auxiliary President as is also the Minister of Music.  Evangelist Baker used her God given creative abilities as media coordinator and program administrator assistant for the Lighthouse Outreach Inc. nonprofit organization, which is a part of Christ Church Ministries.

She loves the Lord, and has a love for the people of God, and has a heat for the women of God. Her desire is to see them become strong, empowered women, inspired Evangelist Baker institute the first Women of Purpose Conference in 2003 to this day the Lord continues to bless this endeavor in the ministry to the women of God.

She is the wife of the Honorable Bishop Robert A. Baker, Pastor and Founder of this ministry.  She is the mother of 4 children and grandmother of 10 and great – grandmother of two.
